Using Tlists as display only...

244125Apr 17 2002

Oracle Forms newbie here. I am setting up a web page for displaying tables. Each form consists of a tlist and a select button; the user selects an item from the tlist, hits select, and it takes them to the next page. I am passing the selected element to the next page in order to use it to populate the next tlist. My issue is that these tables are really for display only. I know you have to set up the tlists as having insert allowed in order to actually change the selected value in a tlist. However, the users are not changing a thing. How in the world do keep the default save message from popping up? I know that LOVs are made for this sort of thing, but I really don't want a dialog box...I've looked everywhere and I cannot find the answer...can somebody help me? THANK YOU!

Brian
