Using Oracle Directory Server to sync OpenLDAP and Active Directory?

user8030744Sep 15 2017 — edited Sep 15 2017

Hello,

I come from a community college that has Active Directory for staff and faculty and OpenLDAP for students. There are many services that require AD accounts and we are looking into all possibilities regarding this. I have been trying to determine whether Oracle Directory Server is suited for our purpose. We would like to setup a sync between OLDAP and AD so that we can keep our existing system in place and also allow students to sign into various systems using an AD account that is synced with their OLDAP account.

There are other syncing possibilities between LDAP and AD but it appears as though they will not work for our purpose (LDAP team is different than AD team).

Any information would be most appreciated!
