Using OPATCH on Windows

632013Apr 14 2011 — edited Apr 14 2011
Hi,

I have 1o.2.0.4 on Windows Server 2003

My problem is very simple. Trying to install a patch but not finding the opatch command

The Installation Istructions:
Patch Installation Steps:
-------------------------

Set your current directory to the directory where the patch
is located:
% cd <PATCH_TOP>/8350262
cd D:\OraclePatches\OraclePatch8350262\8350262
DONE

** Actually running the opatch command is my problem**

Ensure that the directory containing the opatch script appears in
your $PATH; then enter the following command:
% opatch apply

D:\OraclePatches\OraclePatch8350262\8350262>opatch apply
'opatch' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

The path to the Opatch utility is: D:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\OPatch

I know it's easy! Thanks for any help! JOhn
