using ODBC Driver for Oracle Rdb ==> "Function sequence error"

Hello,
I am using the latest 'Oracle Rdb ODBC Driver' on Windows, which is used to connect to Oracle Rdb on Open VMS machine, when I trying to execute a select statement, there is an exception thrown says:
'Function sequence error'.

Is there any suggestion ?
How can I know that this is a bug from the Oracle Rdb ODBC Driver or from the Java Application ?
