Using OCR to extract metadata within Oracle Enterprise Capture 12C

Hi,

Is it possible for to extract data from a scanned document using OCR within Oracle Enterprise Capture 12C?

I am trying to find a solution of using OCR Zones to extract Customer Reference Number, First Name, Last Name etc from documents scanned with Oracle Enterprise Capture.

From my research it looks like I can only extract bar code information and then use this to bring back other values.

Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
