Using iFS residing on Unix from an NT Client

jbh123Feb 5 2002
We are setting up iFS to run on a Unix platform and want to access it from an NT client. Important this is that we want to use the version control facility in iFS.
Does anyone know if we can we use the Check-In/Check Out facility provided by the WebUI in NT to manage files when linking to NFS mounted iFS on Unix via a client package ?

The client interfaces we are considering are....

1.) Samba - ability to map NT drives to NFS mounts
2.) Hummingbird NFS Maestro Solo - ability to map NT drives to NFS mounts.
4.) Web Folders (IE 5.X+) - Using WebDAV hosted by Apache Server HTTP.
5.) NT Services for Unix 2.0 (NT 4.0) - ability to map NT drives to NFS mounts.

Can anyone provide feedback on what will/won't work and experiences with setup and ease of use ?

Any help is much appreciated.
