Using icons for Radio Groups

Eslam_ElbyalyDec 26 2023 — edited Dec 26 2023

Hello all. I am on APEX 23.1.

I have a Radio group that I use for rating instead of Start Rating Item because I need to display 5 different Emoji's that shows Very angry, angry, neutral, satisfied, Very Happy emoji's and one of them would be active at a time. That's why I thought Radio groups are a perfect choice.

I am using Font APEX icons. My problem is that I need to control the color of the inner space of the circle, and the color of the the eyes and mouth.

There're two types of Font APEX icons that I came across. “fa-lg fa-smile” is an example of that type…

See this emoji when it's radio button gets activated…

Notice the white color inside the circle, and the color of eyes and mouth that get their color from the background button's color(blue). I will need to be able to change that white color to E.g yellow and the color of the eyes and mouth too.

Here's how it looks when deactivated…

The other type does not have a color inside the circle. “fa-lg fa-emoji-angry” is an example of that type. See below…

Notice, the color is blue like it's background's color. I will need to be able to change that white color to E.g. yellow and the color of the eyes and mouth too.

Can this be done.
