Using FTP for transferring RMAN backup

Hi,

I don't know what reaction i am going to get from all u guys after asking this stupid question.

I take daily full rman backup for my DB at midnight. And in the morning use scp command to to transfer the backup piece to another server for safety.Now i want to automated the transfer process. If i wanna use scp command then there is some problem inserting password. But i think using FTP is much easier as password can be hard-coded . Could anyone help how these things could be done???
