Using Datapump 10g problems

First off here is the error im getting:
Export Submit Failed
There is a problem writing to the export files: ORA-39094: Parallel execution not supported in this database edition..

I'm connecting to an Oracle 9i database through enterprise manager over the internet. What has led me to this is I'm trying to simply dump the table data in oracle 9i to tab delimited files so I can import them into 10g. This has been an all day thing so far and I cannont believe how hard it is to simply dump data. Any help is appreciated.
