using :APP_USER as a value in a radio button?

I have a "filter" that I added for another region...
when I select Mine I want the value to be my username?

can this be done? it doesnt like this or V('APP_USER')

Currently I am using X as the value and then using a CASE WHEN in the where clause - but it feels messy
