USERS01.dbf file is too large

Hi,
i am using oracle 11g and oracle hyperion. I created many applications in hyperion. The application metadata are held by oracle db. Now i see that i am running out of space on the the drive where i installed oracle 11g. The USERS01.dbf file is more than 6GB in size. And that is the main reason i am facing difficulties in running my hyperion properly.
Can anyone pls tell me how i can reduce the size of USERS01.dbf?? Will it hamper if i delete the file?? I am very confused as the database is holding the metadata for many of my applications. What should i do?? Any suggestion??
