I'm running Application Express 5.0.3.00.03
When I create an App using the Universal Theme, the Login page Username Field by default is set to Subtype Text. I want to change it to Subtype Email so that the email keyboard comes up on iPads or mobile devices, but when I do it loses all of the nice formatting. More detail is below:
- Application Template - Universal Theme - 42 with Vita Style
- Page Template - Login
- Region Style Appearance Template - Login
- All defaults are used
- Username Field also as CSS Classes of icon-login-username so that the user icon displays to the left of the Value Placeholder.
When I change the Subtype from Text to Email:
- Field is 1/2 the height of the previous version
- Value Placeholder moves all the way to the left and overwrites the icon image
- Spacing is not same as other fields on Login form or past Text version
Any suggestions on CSS styling needed? or other suggestions? or suggestions on how to pull the styling from other fields to update?
