Use of JRE instead of JInitiator for Forms 10g(10.1.2.0.2)

Hi guys,

From here
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/as-certification-r2-101202-095871.html#BABJDAHF
I've read that Oracle recommends using JRE instead of JInitiator, we're still using JInitiator.
We're adding some functionalities in our Forms app and some user will be using Vista with IE 8.0. Will that be a problem if we stick with JInitiator?
Some of our current users are using XP and no problem with current Forms app.
I've read in this forum some users having trouble after upgrading to JRE so we're thinking of just sticking it with JInitiator.
Any input will be gladly appreciated.

Thanks!
