usb to serial cable driver

Hello all, sorry for my english ...

In my laptop i�m solaris 9 9/05. My laptop doesn�t serial port, only usb port. USb port work fine under solaris.

I have a usb to serial cable adapter. When plug in usb in messages appear the adaptor, but report not driver.

I need a universal driver .. any ideas?
