URL to access/login to UCM

Hi, I have a total noob question...sorry. I just finished installing UCM on an XP virtual machine. I've never used UCM before and was basically just asked to install and play with it. I'm also going to be using URM, so I installed that as well and then opened up the Administration tutorial to see what this is all about. The first 2 steps are:

1. Open your web browser.
2. Type http://<Your_Instance_Name>/<install_dir>/<instance_dir>/ in the address bar
(for example, http://Master_on_mjones/<install_dir>/<instance_dir>/).

The question is: I cannot figure out what it actually wants for <install_dir> and <instance_dir>. If I put the actual directories (something like 'C:\oracle\ucm\server\cmu\idc') in there, I just get an error and it clearly doesn't look like a correct URL. Any advice on figuring this out?
