URL Masking for APEX application & which WebServer (standalone) should I use for APEX

MASKING URL -Question

I would like to mask this URL:

https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=33335:3

with URL like:

https://mycompany.com/mycategory

Where to implement masking URL, on WebServer / Proxy Server?

WEB SERVER -Question
What is the best WebServer for PRODUCTION (administration simple, free, for many Web user) for this purpose?

-> 1) standalone APEX Listener

OR 2) APEX Listener deployed on e.g. Glassfish?

I would like to use Standalone Installation of APEX Listener, is ist best practise for choosing WebServer
