urgent problem ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified

HI all
i've tried to do a delete operation in smaller table (18 rows) and it stucked.i stopped the running of the command and try to do a truncate to a table .

however when i'm doing now a truncate for table a it gove me that
ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified

what to do in order to release it ?
please help
