hi all,

I have a problem. i have a field in my database which is declared as character and the details stored in it are all numbers except one record which instead contains a character.

Now i need to sort them ascending. If i am trying order by (GRPN) then the data displayed is like this

GRPN

1
153
1678
2
236
2890
31
312
320
46
etc etc

but the output what i need is

GRPN

1
2
31
46
153
236
312
320
etc etc.
how to achieve this
any one help me. its very urgent.

thanks
