URGENT: How to compare java.util.Date and java.sql.Date

Hi guys,
Can anyone guide me in comparing two different Dates type. I'm extracting one date from my database tabel and other is util.Date object intialized with Current Date. I want to compare both and get the difference.
So plz help me asap! its URGENT'
