Urgend Help needed: How to connect VB6 to Oracle 9

Hello All,

I'm facing a problem when connecting a VB6 application to oracle, using the following connection string:

Provider=MSDAORA;User ID=mpc_user;Password=mpc_user;Data Source=DBTEST4_TEST4

The pc where the application is running, is connected over a DialUp connection to the remote Network, where the Oracle DB is located. Once the connection is opened and the command has been constructed, i execute the command. After about 10 minutes i get a response "Not Connected to Oracle".

Please help to figure this out. It's very urgent.
