Upload to APEX_APPLICATION_TEMP_FILES via JavaScript?

Hi Fellow Programmers,

Does anyone know how to upload a file to the respective table of APEX_APPLICATION_TEMP_FILES using JavaScript?
It's like I got a Region with a FileBrowse Item and of course a Button which fires the javascript that uploads the selected file.

I will also put a comment in this post if I somehow managed to get a solution.
