Upgrading Oracle Apache HTTP server 1.3 to the latest version (2.2)

For security reasons, I need to update Oracle Apache HTTP server 1.3 (part of Oracle 9i Application server) to the latest version (2.2).
Is it possible to upgrade only Oracle Apache HTTP server without upgarding the Oracle application server? if yes, Will the Oracle 9i application server support the apache http server 2.2?

I found the latest apache release but there is no documentation on how to do the upgrade if using OHS (oraclehttp server). I searched metalink, oracle website, and this forum but without luck.

Any idea on how to do that is greatly appreciated!
