we have a solaris 10 ldom on a T5-4 using ZFS (thankfully) and need to upgrade it to solaris 11.
If there is another approach than the one mentioned below, please provide any suggestions
we have a solaris 10 ldom on a T5-4 using ZFS (thankfully) and need to upgrade it to solaris 11.
searching the internet, we found that we simply create a snapshot and restore it on a new disk.
And the new disk should have solaris 11 installed on it.
Thats what we did, but now booting from the new disk (solaris 11) we have 2 boot environments and the active one is the fresh installation.
when we try to activate the boot environment we encounter the following errors:
