Upgrade or Migrate 9i to 12c

9i,11g,12c

Hi ALL,

We are migrating our apps with 9i db to 12c via fresh install and fresh setup.

For data loading, since 9i can not connect directly to 12c, we need to install 11g as "bridge" database for 9i and 12c.

This data loading will run maybe for 3 months. My Question is, do we need to buy license for 11g? Since this will be needed for temporary loading only?
