krostaOct 20 2015 — edited Oct 20 2015

Hi all,

i have a trial version of mysql 5.6.25 (commercial) on my linux RH6. I have a Database created and in use.

I would upgrade to mysql 5.6.27 commercial edition.

I download the RPM files:

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root  3334048 Oct 19 16:55 MySQL-devel-advanced-5.6.27-1.el6.x86_64.rpm

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 18752780 Oct 19 16:57 MySQL-client-advanced-5.6.27-1.el6.x86_64.rpm

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 66161104 Oct 19 16:58 MySQL-server-advanced-5.6.27-1.el6.x86_64.rpm

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root  2033728 Oct 19 16:58 MySQL-shared-advanced-5.6.27-1.el6.x86_64.rpm

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root  3945248 Oct 19 16:58 MySQL-shared-compat-advanced-5.6.27-1.el6.x86_64.rpm

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 51321188 Oct 19 16:58 MySQL-test-advanced-5.6.27-1.el6.x86_64.rpm

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root    16207 Oct 19 16:58 README.txt

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 89763532 Oct 19 17:04 MySQL-embedded-advanced-5.6.27-1.el6.x86_64.rpm

how to update mysql without losing my DATABASE?

you can make a logical upgrade?

I'm not very practical, you can list the various steps and commands?

Tnks
