I am upgrading db in windows 2008r2 rac to 12.0.1.2 on win 2012r2. I am using RMAN noopen till & till now all came ok . However i tried to execute sql from RMAN to put the db in upgrade mode but i getting some errors. i check the db status by sql it shows in migrate mode. My question is may i run the catctl.pl now? Does it mean that my alter database open resetlogs upgrade command ran in RMAN?
