Updating Oracle BPM attachments to Oracle IPM

We are using WebCenter Content 11.1.1.6.0 (Ps5) version with Oracle IPM as Document storage and Oracle BPM for the workflows.. I have following requirement.

At the end of the Oracle BPM Document based workflow I want to generate the Approved Image of the screen and the related attachments send to Oracle IPM for storage purpose (as append to the existing Image) . So that any Oracle IPM user can view those approved attachment files. we can use IPM DocumentId for linking Oracle IPM and Oracle BPM. Is this possible ?
