We need to update work schedules (which are assigned to the employee) and these employees already have (1) PTO which has been processed through payroll and (2) future dated PTO requests. We have the work schedules created but have the following questions:
1. Will this have an impact on PTO which has already processed through the payroll.
2. Do we need to wait until a pay period runs or can we effective date the change and the time will adjust
3. If we updated the work schedules, will the future dated PTO update to the new schedules (i.e. if someone requested a a 5 hour day on an old work schedules and the new work schedule has this as a 10 hour day, does the time requested update? When we tested this, the time did not update. Are the only work arounds to update the time requested on the future dated PTO or delete future dated PTO and request again).
