Updating a table

hi guys

i am new to oracle application express.I have table that contain approval_id(PK), request_id(FK)...........hod_approved coulmns are there.in HOD_APPROVED coulmn have Yes/No

i have one updatable page.if i clik the update button it should be update with yes in hod_approved column and rest of all records based on request_id the hod_approved should be No

how can it paisible? if any coading part like javascript or pl/sql please guid me if require any trigger just guid me
