Hi,
We are using Oracle APEX 5.1.1, and specifically looking (at the moment) at the calendar functionality. I notice that Apex is currently using the FullCalendar v2.9.1 libraries. The latest version of FullCalendar is v3.5.1, and includes quite a bit of new functionality that we would like to use in our apps.
I've had a good look around and I can't find any third party plugins that replicate the functionality of the Apex Calendar using the latest version of FullCalendar, so my questions are:
1) Do the Apex Dev Team have any plans to release a patch for the Calendar that uses the latest version of FullCalendar? I don't really want to create my own plugin if Apex is going to release the same thing shortly.
2) If I was to modify my application page to pull in the libraries for the latest version of FullCalendar after the Apex FullCalendar libraries have been loaded, will the existing functionality of Apex Calendar still work?
3) Is there any other way to 'up' the version of the FullCalendar library being used by Apex?
I look forward to hearing your responses.
Kind Regards,
Cj
