I am new to this forum and also to JAVA. My company uses JAVA version 8 and we would like to upgrade to the most current version of JAVA. My concern is that our version is way behind and to upgrade to the most current version may require some incremental upgrades toward the most current version. So, my question is: Can I upgrade with the Most Current Version of JAVA (whatever that is) without doing incremental upgrades? Or, do I have to upgrade each subsequent version of JAVA until I reach the most current version?
