Updatable VO

Hii All,

I have an issue regarding VO.
I have made an VO which is read only but now i want it as updatable because i have to update some of its attribute so as it is read only m unable to update its attribute....so is there any work around to make some of its attribute or the whole VO into updatable.

Plz do reply its urgent
