Unusual Mouse Cursor Behavior

Hi.

I have an HP laptop, running 64-bit Windows 11 Home, where I'm using SQL Developer (Version 23.1.1.345 - Build 345.2114). The mouse cursor is doing some weird things. Depending on the size of the text and font, it either adds unnecessary spaces after the end of the line, or will eat up a part of the word!

I don't know how to describe it, but sometimes I can't see the last letter of the line or the quotation mark that I added. Other times, the cursor would be about 2 or 3 spaces away from the last letter of the line, giving the impression that there are extra spaces where in reality there isn't any!

This is causing a lot of confusion while writing my code.

I tried different themes, fonts, and fonts sizes, but nothing seems to work normally. Any advise?

Thanks
