(unsupported) 3Ware Escalade RAID controller

Hi there,

I tried installing Solaris 10 03/05 x86 on a 19" server with the SCSI Raid adapter mentioned in the topic and noticed that Solaris only detected the device as a RAID adapted but didn't reconize the 2 SATA disks nor the fact the device did any Raid on its own.

Does anyone know if I overlooked the obvious and if this device is supported (either by a native driver or by 3ware themselves) ?

I couldn't find anything, only stories about this card not being supported and didn't pick up any plans about it. Any hints would be appreciated.
