Unlinking Users Without Revoking Access While Keeping Revoke Process

628382Sep 30 2008 — edited Oct 1 2008
Hello All,

I have users that were linked incorrectly to their resource account.

For example, I have 2 OIM IDs:
1. 7777, which belongs to chris
2. 7778, which belongs to frank

On their resource account, it created the user ID based on their OIM IDs
1. chris: 7777
2. frank: 7778

The admin who created the resource ID accidentally typed:
1. chris: 7778
2. frank: 7777

Upon reconciliation, Chris now has Frank's account, and vice versa.

If the admin were to go in and correct the IDs, OIM would link the users up correctly upon reconciliation.

However, Chris and Frank would now be provisioned to both accounts. If one were to get terminated, it would then terimnated both accounts. (Please correct me if this is the wrong assumption)

My question is-
Is there any other way (other than updating the status to a revoke in the database, and changing your process definition rules) to unlink this account using OIM OOTB features?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
S
