Unknown command "expdp"

Hi all,
I am the beginner in oracle, I just started to learn and followed with the guide from oracle. I received the error when I tried to type the following statement.

expdp system/password schemas=hr directory=dmpdir dumpfile=schema.dmp
sp2-0734: unknown command beginning "expdp syst..." - rest of line ignored.

I am using OracleXE, how can I get it function? please help
