In APEX 23.2, you could use a popup LOV with additional outputs to fill a page item with a value. This functionality worked:
- If manual entry was turned on or if it was turned off
- If you selected a value from the popup LOV or if you entered manually and lost focus with a tab or click
In APEX 24.1, the same popup LOV demonstrated this breaking behavior:
- If you entered a value manually and lost focus with a tab or click, the page item no longer fills the page item with a value.
If you install and run the app, you will see the same breaking functionality.
