I've encountered this issue before and still can't isolate the cause. Using the Universal Data Adapter, I can create an integration with my SQL Server data without issue, create and generate the import format, and import data. So that's good.
But as soon as I try adding parameters to the Source Adapter (so create parameters, then re-generate the package), it breaks the re-generation of my Import Format.
I've tried clearing everything out of ODI studio (the project/model/load plan & scenario), manually regenerating in ODI Studio, nothing seems to work. The logs do not give any clear direction, though perhaps I'm not looking in the right place.
Thoughts on the best way to troubleshoot?
