Unindexed searches despite having an index?

807573Mar 17 2010 — edited Mar 18 2010
We're running DS6.3.1 and have been seeing some unindexed searches in the logs despite having indexes for the attribute in question (inetUserStatus), even when there are no results to return. Log entries look like the following:

[17/Mar/2010:13:28:31 -0400] conn=8687704 op=-1 msgId=-1 - fd=347 slot=347 LDAP connection from 127.0.0.1:47958 to 127.0.0.1

[17/Mar/2010:13:30:02 -0400] conn=8687704 op=2 msgId=-1 - closing from 127.0.0.1:47958 - U1 - Connection closed by unbind client -
[17/Mar/2010:13:30:03 -0400] conn=8687704 op=-1 msgId=-1 - closed.

dsconf list-indexes dc=ourdomain,dc=edu
...
inetUserStatus
...

Am I overlooking something?

Thanks for any and all comments.
