Unexplained system hang/timeout when inserting data
697702Apr 22 2009 — edited Apr 28 2009I've got some PL/SQL which works beautifully in 0.5 secs if I DBMS_OUTPUT the results, but if I replace the DBMS_OUTPUT with a table INSERT statement it just hangs. I thought there might be something weird going on with the table, so I've dropped it and re-created it, but the job still hangs. Anyone got any ideas?
