DevOps, CI/CD and Automation

Hi All,
I am upgrading one of my application from forte 4.2 C++ compiler to forte 6.2 for solaris 9. In the first step on solaris 2.6 itself, i am trying to build it with 6.2 compiler.
Machine Details(output of uname -a) is :
SunOs SunMachine 5.6 Generic_105181-39 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-250

showrev output :

Release: 5.6
Kernel architecture: sun4u
Application architecture: sparc
Hardware provider: Sun_Microsystems

CC -V output is:
CC: Sun C++ 5.5 2003/03/12

when i tryed to build the application i am getting "Unexpected type name encountered" erros.

This problem related to patches?
