Unexpected IMP-00002 error

vmatNov 5 2015 — edited Nov 5 2015

Hello there!

I have met this error while trying to import with the imp command a dmp file :

>imp user/pw file=file.dmp log=imp.log tables=TABLES

Import: Release 11.2.0.2.0 - Production on Jeu. Nov. 5 16:49:21 2015

Connected to: Oracle Database 11g Express Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Pro

duction

IMP-00002: failed to open opac.dmp for read

My dmp file is situated in the right directory DATA_PUMP_DIR, so the problem cannot come from this point.

(for instance, when I try whith impdp, I have this error (that led me to use imp), proving that the file path is well understood by my command :

>impdp user/pw dumpfile=file.dmp logfile=impdp.log schemas=TABLES table_exists_action=replace

Import: Release 11.2.0.2.0 - Production on Jeu. Nov. 5 16:36:38 2015

duction

ORA-39001: invalid argument value

ORA-39000: bad dump file specification

ORA-39143: dump file "C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\log\app\oracle\admin\XE\dpdump\file.dmp" may be an original export dump file

)

I checked the file.dmp rights : all rights read, write, are granted to everybody.

Is "file.dmp is corrupted" the only possible answer?

Thanks and lot and sorry for my bad english!
