undo tablespace size question.

A.SivkovDec 24 2013 — edited Dec 24 2013

Dear experts,

On RHEL 5 Oracle 10g when using package dbms_undo_adv and calling undo_info I got:

Undo Tablespace Size Is: 2000M

Querying dba_data_files I see 2 of them: 1Gb and 4Gb, with maxbytes of 1G each set as autoextensible.

Checking undo segments I see 3 of them giving 2Gb as total.

So what is true value for total UNDO tbs size and is there a chance that once needed transactions would use complete 5G of space allocated to UNDO.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Artyom.
