understanding TPC benchmarks

HI I have been using a benchmarking tool with oracle 11g/r2..

Using TPC-C benchmarks..

I have a number of graphs, but im struggeling on how to interpret them .. can anyone point me in the direction of something that may help me?

for example.... in a Transactions per second vs user load graph ... why do the number of transactions per second increase as the user load increases ,... shouldnt this be the other way around?

any help would be appriciated
