Understanding TIMESTAMPADD function

Alex1Sep 15 2011 — edited Sep 15 2011
Hi!

In this post I had a problem about doing a specific chart combined with a date prompt (2262535

Now I can see perfectly that I want. If I select one day of my prompt (08/07/2011) I can see in my chart all days of that month! That's fine for me. I used formulas of last answer:
First Date: TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_DAY, (DAYOFMONTH("Dim_Time.Date")*-1)+1, "Dim_Time_Mes"."Fecha")
Last Date: TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_DAY,DAYOFMONTH("Dim_Time.Date")*-1,TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_MONTH, 1, "Dim_Time.Date"))

So...I need exactly the same but with weeks and years.

Week:
If user select one date of my prompt the chart will show all week of date selected

Year:
If user select one date of my prompt the chart will show all month (january, february, march...) of date selected

So I can imagine that I create news Additional reports to get this assignment

Anybody can help me?
