Dear beekeepers,

the install guide has a sub-chapter "Enabling ORMIS with
Password-Protected Oracle Wallet" within chapter 21 "Configuring TLS
with Oracle Wallet".

While detailing procedures regarding ORMIS and the Oracle wallet, I
would like to understand, what ORMIS is used for in context with
Oracle beehive.

The only hint the install guide gives is "ORMIS is ORMI over SSL or
Oracle Remote Method Invocation over Secure Socket Layer.", and a
pointer into the ORMIS docu.

But, again: what relevance has ORMIS in the context of beehive, and
why does it require separate setup procedures for TLS?
