Undefined Variable: fdxContext (FDMEE Jython)

H_WwAug 31 2016 — edited Oct 27 2016

Hi All,

I am new to fdmee with Jython script. I have been learning the Jython these two days and complete the set up with Eclipse PyDev.

So when i read the FDMEE admin guide, there is an import script exampl:

Import Script Sample

I tried this and got the error:

fdmcontext.jpg

In the admin guide it explains how to use the fdmContext but i dont know if there is anything i need to do to be able to use it?

Is it a global variable that should be set up in some package? Or cause i am using it in Eclipse not in FDMEE directly?

I read it some where says it would be better if you use the Eclipse first then copy it to script editor but how this could work if none of them has a completely functionality? I am so confused:(

Also, it would be great if you can recommend some blogs with great fdmee jython tutorial!:)

Thanks!

Wendy
