Unable to uninstall Oracle 11g Express Edition

When i try to uninstall Oracle 11g XE , i get the error - "1628 : Failed to complete the installation"

Specs_ :

Windows 7 Ultimate
Oracle 11g XE
x86-32 bit

I have no other Oracle Installation. Also i tried by ending all the Oracle processes manually via TaskManager . That too didn't work.

I think this problem existed in 10g XE too . See this unresolved thread : 2276179
Any help is appreciated :)
