Oracle Database Discussions

Hi All,

i need to work on 11.2.0.1 satndalone database and i got the DB Accesss on that box few day back and it is new server. When i checked it the DB is not up and ruuning. When i try to start up the database, it is thronging below error message.

SQL> startup pfile=/u01/app/e16187/oracle/admin/e16187/pfile/inite16187.ora
ORA-01565: error in identifying file '/u01/app/e16187/oracle/admin/e16187/pfile/spfilee16187.ora'
ORA-27086: unable to lock file - already in use
Linux-x86_64 Error: 37: No locks available

SQL> startup mount
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters

Also i didn't see any inforamtion in alert log. Please let me know, how i need to proceed.
