unable to start database due to ORA-27123: error

while i'm trying to starup database i found below mentioned problem
SQL> startup
ORA-27123: unable to attach to shared memory segment
Linux-x86_64 Error: 13: Permission denied

permission of my oracle file in $ORACLE_HOME/bin is
ls -l oracle
-rwsr-sr-x 1 oracle dba 108851000 Mar 18 2008 oracle

can anyone advice me on this
